Her latest book, The Naked Quaker: True Crimes and Controversies from the Courts of Colonial New England (Commonwealth Editions, 2007), was a Foreword magazine 2007 Book of the Year Award finalist (History). Diane also writes the “Tales from the Courthouse” column in New England Ancestors magazine (winner of 3 Excellence in Writing Awards from the International Society of Family History Writers and Editors).

Diane’s first book, New England Court Records: A Research Guide for Genealogists and Historians
(Quill Pen Press, 2006), won 2007 Benjamin Franklin Awards for History and Reference (and finalist for Best New Voice in Nonfiction), and Connecticut Society of Genealogists award for Best Genealogical Resource.
